Mild dimpling of the skin overlying the chin can be helped with Botox® to relax the mentalis muscle. Deeper dimpling or augmentation may also benefit from a filler treatment.

Botox® is injected to relax the mentalis muscle (situated at the tip of the chin) This muscle raises and pushes up the lower lip, causing wrinkling and dimpling of the chin. Botox® blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to wrinkling and dimpling. It relaxes the muscles so they do not contract. After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth less dimpled while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.
You may experience some discomfort during the treatment, but as the needle is so small, this is usually minimal.
No, it all depends how you want to look. As we are expert we know how to ensure a subtle or look that has not much movement at all.
Botox® injections are a temporary solution for the treatment of dynamic muscles (the muscles of facial expression). The results last on average 3-4 months. The average client will need to have Botox® injections about 3 to 4 times per year. However, after three or four treatment sessions, some clients have experienced a more lasting effect.
Although Botox® is a toxin, there have been no serious side effects associated with its use. Temporary bruising is the most common side effect. In some cases, the toxin can migrate and cause the temporary weakness of nearby muscles. In rare cases, there can be a drooping of an eyelid or asymmetry of facial expression. Because the effects of Botox® are completely reversible, any side effects are temporary, lasting only a few weeks.
Our trained and experienced consultants can see you for your treatments. One of the Consultant plastic and cosmetic doctor’s (Mr Warr or Mr MaQuilian) will see you for your first consultation. There is no charge for this and you are under no obligation to have treatment on that day. It is an opportunity to ask all the questions you want. We have the time and patience to listen to you and what you want.
You do not have to have problematic skin to have a microdermabrasion treatment. Microdermabrasion is an effective, non-surgical way to get rid of acne scars, fine wrinkles and sunspots by exfoliating the top layers of the skin. Microdermabrasion also stimulates collagen production, helping your skin rejuvenate faster than normal. It improves the overall condition of the skin without downtime.
20 - 30 minutes. Microdermabrasion has hardly any down time and you can have it done in your lunch hour. Everyone is different but after the treatment some patients can look like they have just popped in and out of a sauna for 5 minutes. You can wear make up afterwards but we would advise you to let your skin breath for a while before doing so.
However, if the goal is to get rid of acne, superficial acne scars, blotchy skin, large pores, age or sun spots, fine wrinkles or uneven skin tone and texture, you are a perfect candidate for microdermabrasion. All skin types can be treated with microdermabrasion. If you are pregnant or breast feeding we would advise not to have this treatment because of the risk of increase in pigmentation (dark patches). If you are taking Roaccutane for acne we would again not advise you to have this treatment until 6 months after completion of the course.

At Fresh Clinics we use a range of peels dependent upon your skin condition. You do not need to have problematic skin to have a safe medical skin peel treatment. Some patients like to have a mini boost peel (this is a lower percentage glycolic peel) to give them a “healthy glow” before a special event like a wedding or a party. We sometimes find that the weeks leading up to Christmas can be quite popular with people preparing to look good for festive parties and those relatives they have not seen in a while.
We use the Neostrata skin peel range which has been clinically-proven and developed by Dermatologist’s. It is a series of peels using AHA (alphahydroxy acid) glycolic acids. This peel is for people wanting the effects of a deeper skin peel via a series of superficial peels, enabling them to continue their social life without any visible peeling.
It can have a slightly stingy feeling but not for long.
You skin will look fresh, glowing and clean. There may be some mild pinkness but this will reduce by the time you have left the clinic. It is an excellent treatment.
Yes you can. There is no downtime and you can have this treatment done in your lunch break.
The Neostrata skin peel is safe and beneficial in improving the visible signs of aging or sun damaged skin and for the treatment of various dermatological conditions including acne, dry skin, hyperkeratosis and hyper-pigmentation. You do not need to have problematic skin to have a safe medical skin peel treatment.
