Eye Treatments

“Crow's feet” or “smile lines”
“Crow's feet” or “smile lines” are those little lines on the side of the eyes that can age your appearance far more rapidly than many other skin conditions. Over time they can deepen more and more as the muscles that control our expressions thicken from use. Botox® injections significantly reduce this effect.
Lower Eyelid and Tear-Trough Rejuvenation
This treatment is appropriate for some patients with lower eyelid dark circles/dark hollows (also referred to as “tear troughs”). In the lower eyelid a weakening can occur along with a loss of soft tissue volume which tends to accentuate the appearance of the lower bony area which lies between the lower eyelid and the cheek. This also leads to the appearance of lower eyelid fat pockets and together these can lead to a “tear trough” depression, or dark shadow or hollow.
How does Botox® work in the smile lines?
Botox® blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to expression lines. It relaxes the muscles so they do not contract. After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.
Will I look frozen?
No. It all depends how you want to look. As we are experts we know how to ensure a subtle look, or a look that has not much movement at all.
Does the treatment hurt in the smile lines area?
You may experience some discomfort during the treatment, but as the needle is so small, this is usually minimal. The skin is thinner around the eye so there may be a bit more discomfort in this area. You don’t need to worry, staff at Fresh will reassure you through the whole procedure. This area does not take more than ten minutes.
How often do I need to get treatments in the smile lines?
Botox® injections are a temporary solution for the treatment of dynamic muscles (the muscles of facial expression). The results last on average 3-4 months. The average person will need to have Botox® injections about 3 to 4 times per year. However, after three or four treatment sessions, some clients have experienced a more lasting effect.

What is it?
At Fresh clinics we mainly use Juvéderm® which is an injectable wrinkle filler made of hyaluronic acid – a naturally occurring substance in the body which biodegrades safely.
Does it hurt?
You may experience some discomfort during the treatment, but as the needle is so small, this is usually minimal. Numbing cream can be applied prior to treatment. Juvéderm® has got a small of amount of local anaesthetic in so this can assist with easing any discomfort.
Will I bruise?
The skin is thin in this area and you are likely bruise. Applying a cold pack after treatment will help in reducing this. We would recommend that you take a few days off work. For example, if you work Monday to Friday and have the weekends off, it may be advisable to have treatment on a Friday and have Saturday and Sunday off and maybe the Monday. Remember, with bruising is that in most cases it can be slow to come out. Everyone is different.
How long will it last?
12 months.
Your eyebrows are an extremely important feature so you should make the most of them. Correctly shaped brows frame the eyes and you can go as dark or light as you wish. 20 - 30 minutes. Microdermabrasion has hardly any down time and you can have it done in your lunch hour. After the treatment some patients can look like they have just popped in and out of a sauna for 5 minutes. You can wear make up afterwards but we would advise you to let your skin breath for a while before doing so.
Eyebrows
Does it hurt?
It does not hurt but can feel a bit tingly and can even tickle!
How long does it last?
12 months but you may need a small top up after 6 months. Wendy Stallard, our permanent make up consultant can advise you further.
What results can I expect?
The result is incredibly realistic and natural looking – and the result for clients who have lost their hair, for whatever reason, is brilliant. You can go as dark or light as you wish.
Eyeliner - upper and/or lower
Permanent make up to the upper and lower can save you putting eye liner on every day. It saves time and can make your eyes look bigger. Like the eyebrow you can go as dark or as light as you want. The staff at Fresh have had this treatment done and will be happy to talk to you about their experience and the results.

It does not hurt but can feel a bit tingly and can even tickle!
How long does it last?
